Typical Pulley Applications

For a 2-pulley conveyor, the Positrac pulleys are placed at the head and tail positions.

The E (expanding) helical tail pulley should be adjustable for tensioning and tracking of the belt. Other idler or snubber pulleys should be plain, flat pulleys.

A snubber can be an "E" helical pulley for cleaning the top surface of the conveyor belt.

For reversing conveyors, the "C" head and "E" tail pulleys should both be adjustable with a center drive.
